Help me please someone out there
I have a vision problem. Before I had a laptop with XP and I used a Microsoft Intellipoint Laptop Laser Wireless Mouse 6000. NAGIC - I could work and lead a normal computer life.
I have had to buy a mew ;aptop which, of course, comes with Windows 7. DISASTER for people with sight problem. First tried to install the Intellipoint - lots of incompatibility messages - nought a newer version of the mouse - downloaded all the siftware to ugrade as was told on the site - no chance - will not work
So am now trying to use the Magnifier. HOPELESS. Works fine for half a minute or so, then starts flickering and superimposing other windows on top of the one I am viewing - if I have no other window open it will flicker and show parts of the desktop underneath this window I have open now while I type this. It varies from the mildly irritating to completely unusable
I have tried all sorts of screen and display settings and verything I can think of but no good. If I open the little Magnifier window and hover over it, this settles it down again for a few moments but not for long
Has anyone any ideas? I want my computer life back and to work again
Finally to enroll pn this forum I had to fill in one of those forms where part of the process is entering some hieroglyphics that appear on the form that you then have to type into a box. It took me 6 goes to get it right - PEOPLE WITH BAD ESYSIGHT CANNOT READ THOSE WEIRD WORDS!!!
