Just installed Mail 2011 and the cursor doesn't show up in the following boxes when creating a new mail message or replying or forwarding a mail message:
TO, Subject, CC, BCC

If I click in these boxes I can type into them but cursor does't show but it does show in the Message Area.
When I click in these boxes the outline of the box is darker wonder if this is how its suposed to work showing no cursor in the box.
Does anyone else using Mail 2011 see the same thing happening or do you get a cursor in these boxes?
I did a reinstall but that didn't solve the problem.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Same problem

I have the very same problem. Exactly.

My WLM [Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3538.0513)] is the version that was factory-installed by HP (Win7 Home Premium 64). I have this problem with no other applications.

Anyone got any ideas?

Found the answer on another forum:

Need to establish (or re-establish) the width of the cursor:
Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center\Make the computer easier to see
Make things easier to see: Set the thickness of the blinking cursor. Was blank. Change it to 1, restart WLM. Voila!
