Don't say it like we are customer service.
We are not.

Already gave you options, get a wired mouse so you can test out if it is an issue with your usb ports, or a huge unlucky coincidence with all the wireless mice you've got.

Ultimately, just reinstall windows and see if it gets fixed. If not, tough luck on your mice.

There have been hundreds of posts from others because it seems like it's a Logitech problem. Some have gotten their problems fixed, but haven't bothered posting the fix.

Go into device manager and locate the mouse, right click and into properties, go to uninstall device or similar, unlpug and plug mouse back in

just tried that didn't work

You should definitely go out to Best Buy or something and buy like 3 wireless mice and 3 wired mice to to some final testing to see whether you are just having some just horrible luck or if you have a software problem. You gotta love those 30 day return policies :)

If none of the mice work, even the wired ones, you may need to update your USB driver for your mobo.

I know this sounds like a lot but you may need to try to start in safe mode or do a clean boot, you may have installed some software that is interfering with the signal.

Although it would more than likely fix the problem you are having, re-installing Windows should not be necessary. This should be your absolute last resort.

If your USB ports do not work at all after a clean instillation of Windows, I would it say that your mobo may have a problem with your USB controller and it may be time to upgrade, but that is currently not the case.

Have you tried scanning for a possible virus?
