I first noticed it in Word earlier. I was editing a file, and instead of being able to place the cursor in the middle of text, it highlighted everything up to that point
At first I thought it was just that one .docx file. So I opened another one that I was using yesterday with no problems and that is affected the same way.
When I opened Firefox, it knew something was up because it wanted to open in safe mode which I accepted.
Now some websites are behaving the same way as the Word doc, as if I have dragged my mouse across the text to highlight it, when all I was doing was clicking a link.
UPDATE:
OK, as if by magic, after browsing a few web pages everything is ok again now! Still curious to know what caused it though, before clicking "Solved"
Anyone else ever known anything like this?
thanks
