Is there a way to make Google Chrome Canary Build the default web browser? It can't be done from within Chrome CB itself. I use as my only web browser at the moment. If it can't be done, what would others prefer to use; IE8 or Firefox? Before I get suggestions for 20 different browsers, IE8 and FF are the only two I'm considering at the moment.

Hey Petey, I've done a little researching on this and It can't be done...yet, As it says so here: Google Canary Build Default Browser. I prefer to use IE because it works flawlessly for me and works a lot better with Hotmail or any Microsoft related sites. But many others would disagree... Browsing with IE is great! It's not slow or anything, it works just fine. If you want a fast browser, I say go for Google Chrome, Opera 10 or Firefox. If you want secure browsing, IE is the way to go. So I say, go for IE8! ;)

If you want secure browsing, IE is the way to go.
I don't think many people will agree with you on that one.

I use Chrome but between IE and Firefox i would go with Firefox 4.0 (still in beta). But when IE 9 comes out take a look at it because IE 9 looks like becoming a great browser.

I didn't think anyone would. But in my opinion, IE is a secure browser, maybe I'm wrong but thats my opinion. I've had no problems what so ever with IE. Why do I feel so wrong for using IE? It's weird lol. IE9, yes, I will definately be checking that out as it could claim the throne of Fastest Browser! (In my opinion) ;)
