I found this document to be quite interesting:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/7943-install-windows-7-fast-without-dvd-usb-device.html?filter[2]=General Tips

Now when you get a computer from Dell, HP, ect. they have prepared a factor key combination to acess the recovery partition to start it up.

Is there a way to make your own key combination during post?

For instance, what if you make the perfect image...having it on a disk partiton is so much faster than a usb disk or even a dvd.

There is a way to do it by creating a partition with WinRE and the Win7 backup image stored upon it, then made bootable using EasyBCD 2.0. However it is a lot of trouble and involves a Dual Boot screen at startup, which makes it easier just to boot the DVD/CD to reimage from stored image.

Someone will find a way to use the Run Factory Recovery key set to reimage from the Win7 Backup image, especially since those keys become inactive once the HD is wiped and/or a clean install is done.
