Hello,
Most of my Cds are classic music, sometimes I make a music cd to play before going to sleep, so I select from several cds some tracks, rip them (with windows media player) onto the pc and then burn them to a rw-cd.
But here starts the problem - some tracks the volume level is high and some low, each time have to adjust the player volume level. Can you recommend a program to be able to adjust the volume level of the tracks
to be almost same level before burning the cd ?
I hope I made my question clear.
Answers will be appreciated.

The free Audacity recording program has a "Normalize" function. If you use this on each song you can "normalize" them all to the same level.

Audiograbber, a free CD Ripping program also has a Normalize option that will do that when the songs are ripped from CD's.

I have a recording studio and do a lot of audio CD Burning (I use Nero BurningRom). Burn the audio CD's at the slowest speed of your CD Burner. My audio CD burn "standard" is 8X, however most SATA CD/DVD burners only have 16X as the slowest burn speed so use that. Many older audio CD players will not play audio CD's or skip when playing audio CD's burned at high speeds.

fireberd has spoken wisely! My Nero OEM 6 used to normalize; I believe Cyberlink WaveEditor can also normalize. I don't think WaveEditor is available for free -- beyond a 30-day trial version.
