I've tried Xboot, refus, Sardu and none of them seem to work.

It probably is my fault. Although I know of Xboot the developent is stopped due to the developer having passed away. RIP.

So I got a set of iso files I do not want to burn to CD but instead want to put on my 16GB usb drive to boot from.

When I boot I have indeed changed the boot order to make sure my usb drive boots before windows does.

It is in this order:

cd drive
usb drive
windows 7 64-bit

It would be really awesome to load your own set of tools on a bootable usb instead of having to use haren's cd tools or something like that that has alot of stuff you don't want. :)

Not sure what you are trying to do, but if you want to create a multi boot stick, use Yumi

That looks sweet but it doesn't support macrium reflect or most of the iso files I want to add. :(

And on the website it says Acronis True Image is supported but in the program it doesn't show up. -_-

Avira and comodo rescue disk amongst others. Does it matter if I mention them all? I can't get one of them iso's to boot (that being macrium reflect rescue media) then it means I can't proceed with any other.

So what could be the issue here? I've tried:

—————– Bootable ISOs —————-

Try an Unlisted ISO (SYSLINUX)
Try an Unlisted ISO (GRUB)
Try an Unlisted ISO (GRUB Run from RAM)

now gonna try the last one, see what gives.

Edit:
Which I did just now and no result. When I disable all boot options but the usb boot it doesn't go into windows but this time into the bios. -_-

Does it need to be run as admin? I'm really sure its something silly I'm not following and causing all this disappointment.

Still trying to understand.

I think you want to boot the USB flash drive and have it present a list of programs you can boot, right?

If so, I can't find any that support Macrium ISO.

I also had very much problems creating bootable -usb pensticks...

No guides, Nothing seems to work. It just fails. Weird.

Its easier do linux liveCDs etc but I dont know what you have tried...

1. FAT/FAT32 /filesystem on the usb ?
2. ISO file
3. and some sort of bootloader, files has to be burned to

good luck

In YUMI, use the plain GRUB option for unlisted ISOs.

Also, in the Add ISO dialog there's a checkbox for showing non-default ISO names for whatever listed prog you're looking for.
