Malwarebytes Interface

Was going to post in system security but this is just an opinion and I wondered if anyone else felt the same.
Is it me or does the new malwarebytes gui actually look like malware? Sort of how a fake program would to me.

Yes it really does.

The old version was way way better.

Sometimes change is not a good thing. The whole company seems to be changing just to make everything fresh and splashy. Probably so they can charge more. Look its pretty! I think the whole idea of any protection software should focus on protection 1st, and usability second, not fancy colors or enhancements that are unnecessary to its main goal: Fighting malware.

Can't say I'm worried about the look of it as long as it does the job. I have the Pro version so don't actually see it as it's set to do it's scans automatically and it's running in the background all the time so have no need to really look at it.

OK the look is different but after all how long are you looking at it. It is a very good program that does a good job and to me that is more important than fancy looks.

Remember, it is the inside that matters, not the outside. This is the same Malwarebytes, with a few more new features and a more flashy interface.
