Many different BSOD's when gaming or watching videos

oh okay, but yes, more so during gaming, sometimes while watching movies but when I'm on my normal harddrive it constantly freezes too during normal use without gaming or watching videos... hmmm

Okay.. Do you have a friend who lives near by your home?
You could borrow your friends GPU card (see if it's compatible with your mobo) play games etc see if it crashes on you.
Can you do that?

oh I've actually tried putting in my old 9800 GT and I started up a game but I still got a BSOD

Oh..umm does your motherboard have an onboard VGA slot? Does it BSoD if it's connected there?

oh shoot you totally did and I totally didn't try that yet, you mean hook up my monitor to the mobo dvi slot?

So I've tried several times to get it working with my monitor plugged into my mobo with DVI but my monitor keeps saying no signal not sure what I'm doing wrong or maybe I'm missing something?

Oh I think you have to change the settings from the BIOS
Put the card back, boot up and change the settings in the BIOS to INTG VGA/GFX
Something different might be written there on your BIOS though

I see 'integrated graphics configuration' and I can set the 'initiate graphic adapter' from 'PEG' to 'IGD' if that's it

well I don't think my computer liked that haha, I'm on my laptop now and I set it to IGD, shut it off, plugged the monitor into the mobo DVI slot, this time it boots up on the monitor but it's launching the windows startup repair due to 'a recent hardware change' and everything is like 800x600 instead of 16:9, I think it's trying to do a restore now too...

What I don't understand is why this is becoming more of a problem as time progresses, when it was first built it was fine for like 2 weeks

Restore to an earlier point in time, although after it failed to restore or repair I was able to boot up at 800x600

yes, it auto installed a couple drivers, I changed the resolution back but it still looks a little funny, should I try a game now?

wait a second, I clicked on nvidia media settings and it said that I'm 'currently not using a display attached to an nvidia gpu', so I dont think it's working properly

Your graphic card is not connected is it?

oh it is, I think there may be an integrated graphics card on my mobo, and guess what, I tried watching a video just now and it started freezing up again, exactly like it had before!

Should I change that settings and the graphics card back then?
