Many Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables

Under "Programs'" Windows lists sseveral of these programs.
Suppose these belong to software I may still have on my PC (or not).
Can I be sure that a programme then lacking this addition will install it automatically?
Like to clean these up if possible...

The Visual C++ redistributables are support files for applications created with Visual C. If not present the applications will fail. Determining whether or not you need all of them is far from simple. The safe option, and the one followed by most knowledgeable members of this forum, is to leave them alone.
