Solved map network folder error 0x80070043

Using Win 7 desktop I am unable to map a USB HDD attached to an Archer C9 router. I believe the router is sharing properly as Advanced IP Scanner sees it and folders and files can be opened from within it. It will not map from windows explorer. See attached.
Any help appreciated.

After a bit more work on the system and a couple of restarts the problem has gone away, no idea why.
