Maplestory imcompatible with Windows 7/Vista?

I've downloaded Maplestory both on Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows 7, and both say ms is incompatible. I've already tried the compatibility/run as administrator bit, and it still doesn't work. And suggestions? :/

If the Windows 7 compatibilty web site says that it is not compatible, there is very little that you can do.

I was able to run maplestory on Windows 7. It's been a while, but I vaguely remember Windows warning me that it was incompatible but it gave me the option to run it anyway.

For some people, it is incompatible. MapleStory was made for Windows XP, and they haven't updated it to work so well with Windows 7. I have windows 7, and it's okay. There are minor problems; it randomly closes at some points, I don't know any other problems, but if you look them up on google, you'll find out. If you search on basilmarket.com, you'll find other people with the same problem. I don't know WHY you can't run it on your XP. It should be working fine. Try reinstalling it, updating the patch, running it from the website.

Tell it to run anyway. I run 3+ maples on my pc at once (needs a 3rd party program) and none crash or lag unless my internet is lagging. Works perfectly fine if your pc hardware isn't from 15 years ago.
