I know that I have seen questions about this before, but didn't pay enough attention, and can't seem to find anything about it now. How does one mark a thread as solved?

its a continual ''work in progress''....
On another couple of php boards which I've modded marking a thread solved involves going to the thread menu and doing it there; however user access permissions are normally set solely for mods and admin to have access to that function... ;)

Sometimes the OP can have permission, depends how admin have set it up...

Apparently, users don't have permission in the Chillout Room to mark threads as solved, but I will try that elsewhere. I just used Barman58's suggestion on this thread.

I think any user can mark his own thread as solved within like 5 minutes of the creation of the thread. Beyond that, you'll have to report to have it marked.
