Question - How did the OP's question about "his" issue with ME1 turn into ME2 questions of who going to get it???
At any rate, to goats, reading your systems specs, it looks like you're overclocking, you might want to turn your clocks down and see what happens.
I just recently finished ME and would play for like 2-3 hours at a time without any issues.
Again, if you're overclocking try turning it down as you could be overheating.
