Mass storage controller sony vaio

Nearly completed a clean install thanks to Greg's tutorial; however, device manager shows the mass storage controller with a yellow sign. I cannot update driver via online option, and I cannot find on the pci database. Any help will be much appreciated.

So it's ok to use vista driver for win7? Where should I save this driver? Or run it

Hi there Yes the Driver should be fine ... Save to Desktop right click run as Admin

Unfortunately the above driver from sony did not solve the issue. Here is a picture if this helps.

Hi there I just checked PCI VEN number and it is your Card Reader .. So try and Install the Driver through the Device Manager

Still no luck. I extracted the files using 7zip and saved to desktop and went through drive manager as you said:

Hi there ... Lets try again Run the .exe file from where you downloaded the file from as Admin .. You are sure that is your right Model Number ?

I found a driver using pci database using the numbers from the hardware Id. Thanks for the help anyway!
