If that's the Wolfram Mathematica it supports both 32bti and 64bit Vista and Server 2008 application. Mathematica 7 Platform Availability
Any programs that will generally run on Vista shouldn't have any problems on 7 since the compatibility issues are far removed between the two. In fact I manage to get XP programs on 7 here that actually won't even install on Vista but run well on 7.
I have installed Mathematica 7 - it works no problems at all. I have Windows 7 RC1 (Build 7100) on IBM T43 Thinkpad (2 GHz Pentium M + 2 GB RAM).
32-bit.Is that the 32bit or 64bit RC you have on there?
32-bit.
Too bad you didn't have the 64bit RC on as well. Then you could let Deathsink know how it turned out when tried there!
