Maxivista compatability

Hi. I'm currently running Windows Vista, and was thinking about just trying to downgrade back to XP, until I read that 7 was to be released shortly. After reading some of the changes, I now believe that I want to upgrade instead. my question, does MaxiVista work with 7 as a host machine? or does it share the Vista WDDM restrictions on drivers?

I just tried to install the software for the primary computer, clicked past all the warnings about WDDM, but when it came to running the program it kept telling me it couldn't initialize the vga driver. Tried restarting, start as admin, nothing worked. Checked the device manager and it had failed to start with a code 43 error.

yeah MS is not budging with this restriction...
and im thinking that they are not changing that anytime soon...
and if you do use XPDM drivers then this OS gets pretty unstable...

well, if I can't get MaxiVista to work with 7, I'll probably not even upgrade.

I wouldn't have even upgraded to Vista, but I don't know how to downgrade my new computer to XP. it really is bad form on Microsofts part to restrict the video capabilities of the program, when there is no good reason to do so.
