Today, as part of Update Tuesday, we released 13 security bulletins.

We encourage customers to apply all of these updates. For more information about this month’s security updates, including a detailed view of the Exploitability Index (XI), visit the Microsoft Bulletin Summary webpage. If you are not familiar with how we calculate the XI, a full description can be found here.

We also released one new Security Advisory:

• Update to Default Cipher Suite Priority Order (3042058)

One Security Advisory was revised:

• Update for Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer (2755801)

I'm not sure what good classifying updates is needed for anymore or even clarity for what is supposed to be for ?
The update system will just throw a fit if you don't eventually load an important update,
All you'll eventually see is the patented "Windows has never been updated" screen :/
Check for updates and a soon to follow error that even Noel can't see an issue in the error log.

I never get the Tuesday updates here on the east coast USA until Wednesday or sometimes Thursday.
Do they start in California and head west?

They are available to me on Tuesday 1 PM EST.
I'm in North Carolina.
I installed all of them on a Win 7 32 Bit OS, and no problems so far.
SFC found no errors.

I am new to this forum though I have visited before. I have a Dell Win 7 pro X64, I had a problem with todays update. After installation, which took forever, I ran a sfc scannow and had integrity problems that it could not fix. I did a restore and ran scannow and it found problems, but was able to fix them. I did this twice with the same results each time.

There are some experts there that can help.
There have been issues recently with SFC and DISM caused by some updates for some folks.

The updates didn't show up in my early morning fetch. After seeing this post around lunch time, I manually fetched the updates and got:

1 Silverlight
1 MSE
11 Office
12 Windows of which one was for an IE roll up and one for the monthly MSRT.

Anyone install them yet? I'm gun shy.

Installed all 13 - no problems. Well I installed them after removing KB3038314 and it wasn't re-offered.

Mine show up automatically in morning or about 24 hours after the last check. I "checked for updates" or fetched them around 2pm CT and that's when they showed up. I'll do another "fetch" tomorrow morning to get back on the schedule. That's when my download time is the fastest anyway.

We fetch down here in Texas.

Hmm, 39 updates for my Win8.1 desktop and I still didn't update my laptop. This is the most updates I've ever had in a while.

Edit: By the way, I just install updates by either restarting or shutting down and then starting up. I did the updates on my Win8.1 laptop and for some reason, it seems more than half of the updates have failed to install. They are back in the list of updates available to install, or at least some of them. I'm not really sure because I didn't do a side by side comparison. Maybe I shutdown it while it was still just downloading from the Internet? I'll have to check again tommorow. The laptop itself is running fine though...

They didn't show in the 8:30 AM "fetch" either, but I did get 14 when I searched for them manually. I held off installing them until I got a full system save done last night. I also uninstalled KB3038314 from 04/14/15 (had no known issues with it) just to be sure. I installed 1 Silverlight, 1 Office, 12 Windows, of which one was for an IE roll up and one for the monthly MSRT. All 14 installed with no problems.

Yeah, I installed the whole batch this morning and so far so good. No strange errors in the Event Logs and everything I've used today, so far, has worked. (Word, Excel, IE, MSE, NetMonitor, Audacity and YouTube.) I might even try to get some work done.

I found IE11 wasn't working for me.
I could see the process running in Process Explorer, but i had no visible IE window.
Tried many things to fix it.
Finally found the culprit, i turned off MBAE (free) real-time protection, problem solved.

I had 17 important. sfc fine before but corrupt files after. I'm back to a 4 day old image and I'm sitting on it for the time being.
This and things related to camels are driving me nuts at the moment.
