My friend has a laptop with Vista Basic on it and I want to help her out because maybe by helping her it will spark something that could hopefully lead to marriage. She can't register on this forum or the Vista forum. Should I just register my name on both and ask? :geek:


i guess what I am worried about is having two accounts, 1 here and the other on the Vista version

No, that is perfectly fine for you to be registered both here and at our sister forum as well. You'll find that a large number of us are registered at both. :)

Although there are many similarities with Vista and Windows 7, there are also many differences as well and you will get a better response on the appropriate forum.
