Hi guys,

I have installed Maya 2010 64bit on my windows7(64bit) recently. Everything works fine except one thing. The Mouse Right-Click function to display Marking Menus or insert key frames.. anything that related to the Right-Click Mouse Function is just not displaying the Menus. I tried spamming the right click , i do see the selection but it just doesnt appear long for me to select the choices from the Marking Menus.

I got Maya 2010 32bit installed on a winXP, everything works just fine. Tried install maya2010 32bit on my windows 7. The Mouse Right-Click function still not working.

Hopefully, someone understands my problem , please helpme out.

Hi. I understand the problem but unfortunately can't say how to fix it.

You could try installing the Logitech or whatever mouse driver for the x64. See if there is a patch to Maya to have it updated too.

Okay , tried dling setpoint for my logitech mx510, no difference after install. No update on maya 2010.

I tried changing "Button Configuration" in Mouse Properties . Tick the "Switch Primary And Secondary Buttons". I on Maya 2010, apparently using the mouse's left click , it is able to display the markup menus without problems. but now the Right-Click which is use for Selection since the mouse config is switch, it does not function properly....meaning i have to spam the right-click just to select my object T_T

So is this something really to do with Mouse Driver Issues ? or Windows 7 & Maya 2010 ?

Thanks for replying.

If you switched the left/right mouse button functions and the right button is still the one giving you issues, then that indicates a hardware problem with the mouse itself.

I checked the mouse properties through the "Hardware Tab" it shows device is working properly.

Will try other mouse or dl logitech's driver for that mouse...
