Hi All,
I have the 64Bit version of Windows7. All working great EXCEPT for Media Center.
The setup goes well and it finds all the channels however when switching over to live tv view I get a black screen.
Im using the Gigabyte u8000 card which has worked really well with the Vista Media Centre.
Anyone got any ideas I'd appreciate it?

Cheers

Have you gotten the Windows 7 video drivers from Windows Update for Nvidia cards? Also, you should check to see if there are newer drivers for your tuner though if it finds the channels during a scan you should be ok.

u8000 64bit driver no good

Hi,

Thanks for the reply..I did try all that.

I bit the bullet and purchased a new PCI Express card from leadtek. Installed perfectly, runs beautifully. So I guess as normal the Gigabyte 64bit driver sucks!

Thanks for your help anyway

For those with the same issue. Gigabyte u8000 does NOT work with 64 bit version..I tried everything!

I got same problem, U8000 doesen't work on my Windows 7 64 bit. It worked fine on the 32bit version. I downloaded the drivers from the official website, where it says that they are compatible for windows 7 but nothing....

I really need to fix this too, i don't want to change my whole OS for only one F**** drivers :(
