Media Center does not see DVB-T TV Stick

I have just bought a "DVB T - TV Stick" Model T803 by MyGica - From the evidence of the Driver installation the drivers at least come from REALTEK.

With the supplied software it works fine - I can see 66 local digital TV channels. However I would much prefer to use the Windows Media Center for watching TV but Windows Media Center cannot see the "DVBT-TV Stick" If I try to watch TV on WMC I get a nonstop "Please Wait Searching for Tuners"

Does anyone have any hints or help as to how I can watch TV - using this stick - from within WMC rather than the supplied software "total Media 3"

Many thanks

Richard

Could be many things... one of which is that isnt much of a tuner card... never heard that name before. May want to return and get a reliable tv tuner card such as Hauppage or AverMedia... both well known names in this field.

Here is an article that may help you... Troubleshoot problems with watching TV on your computer

Also, are there Win7 drivers for your tuner?

Darryl - I must admit I don't understand this but last night I downloaded the TV Catchup plugin from

TVCatchup for Microsoft Media Center - Never Miss A Show Again

and last night I discovered that the "stick" is working in WMP - this morning as I have my first cup of coffee it's still working!

Again thank you for your reply

Richard

Fake & Dangerous Advice

Well , I never read more stupid advice than this one.

First mentioned Plug in is not for DVB Tuners at all - it is for utilizing of Internet Streaming TV.
Second stupid plug in works only if You live in UK.
Third - there is no way to uninstall it from Your system.

Forth , not the last Richardxxx is somebody who can drink coffee but never understand from computers at all
