Media center power on (not wake) PC

I'm leaving town for a few days and want media center to continue to DVR my shows in my absence. Trouble is, we've been having intermittent power outages in the area and of course the computer is turned off when this happens. WMC wakes my PC fine from sleep or hibernation, Can it be configured to power on the PC when necessary?

Have you checked your BIOS? Some BIOS have the option of 'powering the PC up' on power restore?
