2 Simple questions here for anyone who watches Cable TV on their PC using Media Center:

1. Are you able to hear sound when watching NBC, AMC, and/or ESPN?

2. And, if so, do you also have a separate TV (such as the living room), where you also watch Cable TV and hear sound on those channels?

1. Yes -- During the Little League World Series, ESPN2 had low volume levels. Volume normal now.

2. Yes

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much for your replies!

I have found the fix if you lose sound on some of your channels:

The Comcast cable remote has a button at the bottom, below the 'mute' button, labeled ''LANG''. If that button gets pressed accidentally, it will delete sound on some or all of your channels. Has something to do with having a language other than English. Simply press it again to set it right.

DOH! I hate it when something like that happens to me!

But you are most welcome. Thanks for letting us know what you found. We never know how many others may be helped when we post here!

Thanks!

Now that you mentioned it...it happened here a few years ago...no sound on a certain channel. Only thing it had to be set in the tv menu...no special button on the remote. (it was an old tv)
Embarassed the living *** out of me because I called it in and the cable guy came out and fixed it in under a minute :D :D
