Prior to buying a new PC with Windows Seven I had a PC running XP that was probably 5 years old. When I used the x-box extender with it everything ran fine on the xbox and I had no performance issues. Last year I bought a new PC with Windows Seven and ever since then using Media Center on the X-box is pathetically slow and laggy. Nothing has changed in the network, nothing has changed regarding equipment location (yes I'm wireless but it worked fine on xp) and netflix works flawlessly so why does media center suck. I"ve seen dozens of posts about this issue but most are a year or two back. Has MS come out with a patch or has anybody figured out what exactly the issue is. As I stated previously the only thing that has changed in my environment is Windows Seven. If I boot up my old dinosaur running XP and connect it to the X-Box it works fine:mad:
