I Hope someone can help as I am sick of reinstalling the os because of media centre problems. To cut things short I fired up media centre and live tv has audio, but no picture. Power DVD9 is the same and also media player. Everything had been working fine for days, until I turned computer off for about 5hrs and then turned it back on. I restored my drive from an image, still the same, updated ATI drivers, nothing, compro DTV software works fine along with allother apps. Can somebody please help and throw some light on this issue before I use it for a boat anchor. All drivers up to date.

The drivers are likely not signed and need to be for use with W7 x64. Ask the manufacturer for signed drivers for W7 x64.

Also, update your codecs. Shark's Windows 7 Codecs or K-Lite is pretty good, depending on if and what you need out of those codecs besides playback. If it's only playback, get Shark's codecs.

Found main problem

Thanks for the quick reply. I have found the main problem, after taking the side of the case off and watching LED lights on board during boot, I noticed that the light above gfx card would remain blue through boot cycle and if it didn't go out the machine wouldn't boot at all. I found that the card had because of its weight had sagged and wasn't seated properly, so I reseated and made a small bracket to hold the end of the card so it couldn't move and now everything seems fine. The blue LED light dosn't come on at all and it even seems to run cooler. I still have a few other nagging problems but think I can fix when I get time. Will keep you posted. Many Thanks:D
