Hi all,

I really hope someone can help me. I want to remove all media devices from my network so I have done the following -

1. Blocked all the media devices that were listed within the media streaming options so it shows that media streaming is off
2. Stopped and disabled the Windows Media Player Network sharing service
3. Disabled access to the program windows media player

Yet still there are a number of media devices displaying when I view my network (see attached)

Thanks a lot

I had this same problem. The solution was to uninstall Windows Media Player (it's under Media Features in the 'Turn Windows features on or off' dialog).

Repeat this on each machine affected. The vagrant entries should disappear. You can reinstall afterwards if you wish.

Do you have anything plugged into an HDMI port on the computer? If so, windows will assume that is a media device and show it as such. Unplug the HDMI and your problem goes away with it.
