media player full screen problem

i recently bought a new hp dv4 with windows 7 and now whenever i try and watch movies ive downloaded in full screen or try to enhance the window the video just freezes with the audio still playing...this is a recent occurrence because when i first downloaded a codec pack to view the films everything seemed to run fine...any suggestions?

Try to update your video and audio drivers, may solve your problem.

the system update in windows 7 is amazing, try doing a windows update, if doesn't work, check in the HP website
