media player streaming

Hi!

I tried the streaming feature between my notebook and a virtual machine, it worked great. Afterwards I tried to test this feature via internet with a friends computer but we couln't figure out how to gain access to the others media.

Did anyone succeed?

I was having the same issue with not being able to get streaming working over the internet. Does certain ports need to be on the router/firewall need to be opened?
