MeGUI has stopped working

Hello I recently installed a software named megui for encoding movies and stuff.

it was working fine until I updated it. while it was restarting, i got the message 'megui has stopped working' and is checking for a solution which never works... the process is killed.

I uninstalled it... restarted the system, reinstalled it, but still I get the same message. .....

I tried the older version of the software which was previously working, its not working either, its giving me the same message 'megui has stopped working'... I checked threads of similar problems but it didn't help, hope you don't mind if I have made another thread.

my system is windows 7 32 bit ultimate
core 2 duo

Do you have CCleaner installed? If so, run the registry cleaner section, and look for any entries related to MeGUI. If you find them, select them and remove them. I can't tell you how many times I've had to do this before I could reinstall software, especially drivers.
