Solved Memory, AMD Only??

Looking to buy some memory (PC3 DDR3)

I've seen some on ebay, but it says for AMD CPU chipset only

is this right? just as I've not heard of that?

sorry, canny find it now, but it was on ebay and from China

it was just that I've not seen RAM for a specific CPU

All DDR3 is compatible non ecc and ecc the Ram might just be made by AMD

I know that OCZ made a version that took advantage some extra features of AMD's memory controller but I'm not sure if it made it exclusive to AMD or not.

I found this although it is older.

The Ram looks to be from a Dell or some Brand name build they do that kind of stuff to label it only this and that there is no such animal but some ram works in board better then others and some will be limited to how they work with the chipset it's in
