Memory Dump- might need some Japanese

My computer is a Fujitsu with
I think its Windows 7 Professional (Japanese Version) using wireless link to Fiber Internet Connection. Intel.

Everything is about 11 months old.

Just shutdown via Memory Dump twice.

By the way both crashes occurred just after recovering system after sleep- maybe Window Live Mailbox had something to do with it.

Have you installed IE9 onto this system, by chance? This looks like the Win32k.sys stack overflow that IE9 beta and RC used to cause that was fixed with IE9 RTW. Also, you aren't running Windows 7 SP1, which I would strongly suggest you install before doing anything further with the system.

No and no. Doing the service pack 1 (I think so) now- thought autoupdate would have got that already. IE8.0.7600.16385

OK - this is some sort of overflow in Win32k.sys, which really makes it likely a video driver issue if it's not an issue with Windows itself. Hopefully SP1 will clear that up, but I'd also update your video driver to the latest released and signed version available for Windows 7 as well after getting SP1 installed on there, to be safe.

After it being touch and go, my wife took the enlightened path rather than the ostrich way and did a driver update from the Fujitsu website. Hope everythings good. However the Java is quite out of date- unfortunately the straight updating process didn't work- now to get her to uninstall and reinstall which I have heard is the way to go if you still want Java. - Probably start a new thread but any good Japanese computer websites?
