Memory Dump on Youtube running on Chrome

It started this morning before I did anything significant. It used take a few minutes now it happens straight away after running WinSweeper and Defraggler. Drivers are up to date according to SlimDrivers.
Can someone please help with this?

As far I ca see your network adapter driver cause the problem. Try to reinstal it

Thanks for your reply but I have uninstalled and reinstalled the network adapter driver and still goes to memory dump within a minute of running Youtube on Chrome.

• Copy & paste the code below in the command prompt
• Go to your desktop
• Right click CollectedFiles folder and choose sent to and select compressed (zipped) folder
• Upload the zip.

I realised I made a mistake. I have seen that but it very difficult to do. You can't paste that much at once in a command prompt at once also it tends to cause the command prompt to produce an error sound.

Could you copy the code, right click the title of the CMD prompt > choose edit and click 'Paste'.

I had problem with HowtoGeeks instructions. I still have the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome but it made no difference. I have LastPass and Dashlane as addons on Chrome. I want to move away from Dashlane but too many password records on it.

Unfortunately, since I can't read your language, the files are barely of any use especially since there appears to be no dump files present. If you have recently cleaned up the disk space, please refrain from doing this since it removes important data.

I run Reimage Repair Plus and it "repaired" but the problem remains. Indeed I have the additional problem of timeout on all websites- it comes and goes. I am using the Fujitsu Computer so it not a problem this second.

Reimage Repair is a program that could be considered as a PUP (Potential Unwanted Program) for its behavior and I recommend to remove it or use a restore point prior installing it.

You are wrong. Somehow Reimage Plus indirectly fixed the main issue although I uninstalled Avast and started using Firefox and Windows started putting loads of updates 21 then 39 then 2 then 1. The website loading is better but websites fail to load such as this one a few seconds ago. DropBox Desktop App is far worse PUP it continually loads into memory after being deleted from startup loading and occupies RAM.

I'm not wrong or right. Please note that it is a POTENTIAL unwanted program, meaning many users find it unwanted on their system, some want it on their system.

Reimage is a program that claims to provide solutions for many issues, but quite often this is heavily aggravated. This is typically the case with the registry where it shows billions of errors, while there is really none. Nearly every pc has these 'errors', they come from programs that improperly remove their own stuff, from file extensions that are registered on your pc but never used, but these stuff won't do anything to your pc when left alone and removing it won't gain anything either. The registry optimizer is supposed to get rid of all registry related issues, but once again removing those stuff won't gain you anything, it will really only waste time.

Then the Windows repair/rebuild and the crashes/freezes, Windows has built-in tools that do can do this up to a certain limit where things get too corrupted and nothing is worth it to do aside from a reinstall, not 'even' this program could help.
Freezes have a large range of causes, if Reimage can indeed somehow identify the cause it can prevent freezes up to a certain limit, because no software other than Windows itself can access certain areas of the system for security/self protection reasons.
Crashes I assume means BSOD and unexpected shutdowns/restarts, similar to freezes Reimage might be able to identify it but again it can only do so much if it can actually do anything. Reimage would need to somehow be able to replace files that are currently being used, which normally cannot be done, in order for it to be able to fix many BSOD causes.


I could go on, but this is just my point of view on this software. I also (self experienced many years ago) know/knew that this software sort of forces users to buy a license, similar to how Avast works with its free AV software, with the annoying pop-ups, which is another reason why many security companies have flagged it as a POTENTIAL Unwanted Program, of course showing pop-ups requesting a user to purchase a license isn't enough to flag a program as POTENTIAL Unwanted Program as many other programs do the same, there are more reasons why this software is flagged as PUP, see PUP Reconsideration Information & Request Form | Malwarebytes.

Incorrect. PUP is malware- an industry euphemism just to avoid lawsuits because judges are apparently too dumb to understand how negative that term is and you can't speak the truth about anything in government, NGO or corporate US land. Any program can be potentially unwelcome hence the term would be meaningless. Reimage is clearly not malware and neither are the registry editors.

PUP is just a subjective term used on programs that meet criteria created by security vendors. If you don't agree with it, please take it up with them.

There's a difference between registry editor and registry cleaner, the latter is what Reimage and many programs have. Both are a huge stability risk for many users though, some 3rd party registry editors might be flagged as a PUP merely to protect users from making mistakes.
