Hi All .
I;m adding more memory for my laptop ..and i have 2 sticks 1GB & 2GB ,,
My question is ..Does it matter which slots they should be installed ...?
and should they affect performance if i put them in the wrong slots ..?
Thanks in advance .

Doesn't matter which slots (it may matter if we had four slots in a desktop). Order doesn't matter. This is after the fact, but if one stick is slower than the other, that will be the default for both.

alright, then you should be good just as long as they are all the same speed.
Enjoy! And welcome to Sevenforums!
