Hi guys,

For a couple of days I have pop-up constantly appearing on my PC.

I have attached a screenshot with a couple of them.

I have windows 7 64 bit installed, Avira antivirus activated at all times.

I tried scanning with Malwarebytes, but it didn't find anything.

I tried ADW Cleaner, it finds something(a PUP if I remember correctly), it says it fixed it, but the problem doesn't go away. I also tried this in Safe Mode.

I also tried Junk removal tool, but I get the same problem as with ADW Cleaner, it detects something, says it fixed it, but after restart I have the same problem.

Do you guys have any idea on how I could fix this. I am trying to avoid a system wipe because it's a PC from the office, and it would waste a lot of time.

Thanks a lot !

Best,
Sergiu

Hi Jacee,

Thanks a lot for the quick reply, I have used a similar guide to that, with the exception of HitmanPro, but with no luck. I'll try that first thing Monday morning.

Hitman pro should neutralize the threat. If it does find it, remove and restart. Then I would run another full scan with mbam and adwcleaner.

If not, Jacee or I can look into alternatives.
