messenger does not install

hi, i just installd the win 7 sp 1 and it just messed my live messenger
up till now i tried to reinstall it and i get this messege a program is preventing the installation. microsoft kb want of any help, all their advicas were in vain

See if you can install during a clean boot
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Make sure that the old install if completely removed. Use ccleaner to remove remnants.
