I ahve been using Snagit for a couple of years without any great problems. A short while ago my virus prog. (Panda) reported that this bgl was dangerous so, like a fool, I quarantined and then deleted it. I also at this time used MyDfrag to do a defragmentation. Now my Snagit reports that it cannot run as this dll is missing and also I cannot carry out a recovery as it would appear that MyDefrag has deleted all my recovery points. I have tried several internet programms to recover the mfc90u.dll all without any effect. Is it possible to download and re-install this dll, if so where should it be installed on Win7 ?.
