Mic Doesn't Work On Razer Electra

Hey guys !
So,I just got a new headset. It's the Razer Electra.I literally opened them 30mins ago ( ) ,but there is one issue - my mic doesn't work,at least I think it doesn't.
So,they came with 2 cables - one is for only for the sound ,and the other one is for the in-line mic and audio,but the mic seems to be off the whole time,even though my Sounds says that it's turned on.
Any help would be great.

Try the headset on a different PC if that doesn't work just send it back or return to the store you brought it from. Sometimes its not worth the hassle unless its a pain to send it back for you

According to the specs on the Razer site, this has a 4 pin connector for the mic, for use with iPhones, etc.
If that is the case you will need an adapter to use the mic

Audio + Microphone Usage: Devices with 3.5mm audio + mic combined jack
(Compatible with Apple iPhone®, HTC®, BlackBerry®. The Razer Electra was designed for smart phones and laptops that come default with a 4 pin TRRS audio + mic combined jack. Razer cannot guarantee performance for use with third party splitter cables.)

Aw damn it ! Knew it ! Should've bought the damn Corsair Vengeance 1300 !!
