Hey, I've just bought e5 headphones with microphone, HP are ok, but mic doesn't work.

I've got max boost and volume, green bar goes up and down by 1 piece. Seems like windows sees the mic, but it doesn't catches the sound. I've read it's common problem with windows 7. What am I supposed to do? Help please.

Please fill in the "My System Specs" (you can see mine for an example). Helps us to try and help you.

Doing a search for "E5 Headphones" There are many posts about buying a preamp so the mic has proper volume.

Have you checked img I attached? It's set as default, still doesn't work. Checked on my laptop (also win7), not working neither...

Since its not working on two different PC's, this suggests a hardware problem in the microphone. Return it for replacement.

Ok... Anyway I have reinstalled drivers and it worked for like 10 minutes (checked with windows sound recorder). Now I'm again getting bzzzzzzzz. Don't really believe it's mics fault. Gonna give it back if it won't work... still I assume it's on w7.

Try a system of a friend maybe with another OS. Try also the Sound Recorder that is in the Accessories. Maybe it is your recording program.

I restatred system and mic was working fine until I started teamspeak - since then it keeps buzzing. Even after closing TS mic doesnt respond. I'll just return it and get over with fact I can't use microphone on this pc.

But that sounds that this 'Teamspeak' is at fault. I have a similar problem with my mic on screen recorders. There is one recorder where it will deteriorate the sound over time. With other recorders it works perfectly.
