Hello,

I Currently have 1 game pc and 1 stream Pc.
The audio from my game pc goes into the line in from the stream PC.
This works great.
Now i have my microphone plugged in to the Mic line in.
But it doesn't detect my microphone.

If i remove the line in, the microphone does work. But it shows up also as line in. in the audio settings.
While it is in the mic line in plug?

But i need it to be recognized as a microphone, because else i can't adjust the noise gate etc.

The mic does work, because on my game pc it just works fine.

Anyone know how i can fix this ?

Thanks.

The Gigabyte motherboard I looked at shows RealTek audio. The "Line In" and the "Mic" should both work. Do you have "Stereo Mix" set as the default recording device? With Stereo Mix, whatever input(s) are used will be heard or available for use by programs.
