Hi guys, I wonder if you can help me. I have a Samsung R710 laptop and I've just updated it from windows XP to Windows 7 64bit. The built in microphone wasn't working (which was previously), so I downloaded the sounds driver from here:
Support for NP-R710
I've done a test on skype for my microphone but it is really quiet. If I shout into the built in slot I can hear myself other than that nothing. I went to sounds>recording>properties>levels and turned the sounds upto 100% and 0db boost but still no joy. If anyone could help me out it would be most appreciated.

Did you remove the old drivers?
Follow the instructions in Step 2 of the How-to Guide for sound located

The 32-bit drivers should still work. Post a snip of your Device Manager with the Sound section expanded.
