This works. I downloaded a new copy yesterday just to make sure.

I have no problem with that download. I have MBSA on my system. My problem is that one of the files is called "Newversion". Following Microsoft's warning not to use the the old version but the new one dated earlier this year, I opened the "Newversion" file and got the result shown at post no. 6 in this thread. The "Address is not valid" goes round and around. Hopefully, when Microsoft wake up, the "Newversion" download will work. (I haven't bothered to send them a message (and I don't have an address) because by the time it wends its way through such a big company I will have died of old age!)

I have seen warnings about not having two security programs active at the same time. Does that apply to F-Secure Internet Security and MWB?

EDIT: I meant MBAM "Malwarebytes".

No because mbam is not a antivirus program
So the moto is do not use 2 antivirus programs,
I believe BooZad also has mbam premium as well
He just chooses to use a paid for version of an antivirus as well

Most of us only put our money on mbam and use free antivirus programs
Which MSE is a good combination if using mbam premium
I've used this combo for a lot of years without any issues

To prove a point your wanting to use a base line security utility to evaluate your existing setup
This is a M$ utility
MSE would insure that baseline was met
mbam premium is really what is worth paying for if money is an issue

I posted about F-Secure thinking it had a free version seems it does not = my bad
But if money is not an issue then it's no big deal

I do use MBAM but only the free version. I've contemplated buying a Premium license many times but F-Secure SAFE does offer realtime Malware protection so I just compliment it with MBAM on-demand scans and SAS on-demand scans.
