Pretty much the only limitations are you can't use the software for production and staging environments, but just for your own personal use. Other than that, the key's/software don't expire, even if you stopped your subscription. No time or feature limits.

Worth it for Win 7 and Office 2010 (when it comes out) alone.

I just read through the terms of the agreement and I did not see anywhere were this would be illegal to use for a small company!?

I must have missed this!?? Im trying to sell this idea to my brother-in law who runs a small company (5 employess) ran from his home office I do not want to get him in any legal troubles with licensing in case of an audit though.

It looks like he can install these and run them in a production environment as a test system?

249.99 for one year with 10 licenses seems outrageous good deal.

Well, you can see here in this email where it says you can't use for production or staging environments.

A small company / home office would be a production/staging environment, which is what they specify against.

He might be able to use it to figure out how and why he wants things to be set up, and could also, for example, try different versions of Office on his home computer to see which he prefers.

But once his small company / office moves beyond the experimental evaluation phase and into the "we're using this" phase, he's supposed to obtain the full-blown normal licenses elsewhere.

So yes, you missed something.
