Could this old version make any problems? Do you have to install xp mode or? I'm confused.. It's seems like it can be run on 7 without problems, but I don't know

As Tews said Office 2003 runs fine on Windows 7. Just make sure to run Windows Update after you install Office to get all the security fixes.
