Thank you very much for your response. I would very much like to try it, but I can't find a Run Option. I know I had a Run option on the Windows Start Menu with XP, but I can't find it on Windows 7. Do you know where it is?

Thank you for your reply. I tried that, but nothing changed. I find the problem with EXCEL and also WORD, but not POWERPOINT. I even tried the Microsoft Office Repair utility; nothing changed. I think I'll delete and reload Office, but I'm not hopeful. Do you have any other ideas?

Whiuch version of Excel do you have installed? What version of Excel is the spreadsheet your trying to open in? If the spreadsheet is newer than your version of Excel, this may be causing your problem. Search for and download/install the Excel viewer (along with the word viewer, etc).
