Microsoft Office trauma

Hi there,

I hope someone can help, suddenly MS Office can't verify the licence key - literally came down stairs one morning and it wasn't working. I have been unable to repair or active it. I don't want to unistall it, as I don't have discs and don't know how I would reinstall it. It is a legal copy as it came installed on the laptop and I have the activation key.

I have tried to find help online, but can't follow any of the instructions fully for one reason or another. So in my search I found here!

Here is the copy as requested... I hope someone can help, it's been a disaster losing it, as although I downloaded Open Office and can at least see my documents I can't send them out to customers as it's wrecked the formatting and stripped a lot of information out.

What version of Office do you have. Eg. 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013. There are variations of each of those, such Standard, Professional etc..

It's 2010, and I think is student and home office. I can't give any more accurate than that as I can't get it open to look.

As far as I can see from the MGADiag report, there are no system problems - your problems are confined to Office.

As well as the website suggested by NoelDP you can also try the following website if you wish to download a new copy, but you must have the activation key to do so.

Re-download Office Home and Student 2010. I have a product key but no - Microsoft Community
