Microsoft Office Word fails to open

I have Microsoft Office 2013 Word program I am trying to open has been opening ok until this morning as begins to open it keeps displaying this message Microsoft Word We're Sorry, but word has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly word will need to be closed a result and it gives three options Repair,Help,Close what is happening and how do I fix it? It was working perfectly ok until this morning.

Have you run the Repair option that is shown in your screen shot?.

You can also try repairing Office as well. To do that open Control Panel, select Programs & Features, then scroll down to Microsoft Office 2013, right click on it & select Change & this will open a couple of Repair options to try.

Is the laptop that you have listed in your System Specs the one that you are having this problem with, if so it only has 1GB of RAM, so if you have other programs opened as the same time it's possible you are running out of RAM. Try closing all programs that a you have open & then reboot the computer & after it restarts try opening Word first & see if that helps.

Thank you for the reply and I was going to repair it but I tried to restore it but I have ended up with an update version 2016 so I have updated and it is working now. But I will look into what you have advised for next time. Thanks!
