Classic oxymoron. If one has to be taught to use something, it's not intuitive. And, even with instruction, I did not find it easy to use.

You really are something, at least you think you are something. Are you seriously stating that if a senior citizen has never ever in his / her life used not even touched a computer and finally decides to try, gets a lesson or two and thereafter manages by himself / herself, the OS in question can no longer be called intuitive because the person in question did not manage to master it without some tuition?

Well I have installed the new 10 version over a Windows Ultimate 7 amd also a 32 bit and 64 bit virtual machine and I have to say I like some of it. I do not like the icons. I would prefer 256 or 1024 colour icons and also would prefer the full Aero eye candy.So far as a work in progress it is superior to Windows 8.x

Our sister site Vista Forums is still going strong now when we just got a third Windows OS after Vista.

And Win 7 is more popular than Vista so Seven Forums isn't going anywhere.

Yea I realize that question is does the action center listings restrict it to the size he's showing or did he make it that big,
Feeling tells me it's the default width size like in windows 7 and can't be reduced :/

I'm still doing girly file shifting and then a girly shadow copying of 7 and 8.1 to an external hdd,
Possibly tonight I'll have 10 in hand

I also like the task bar on the left of the screen. It takes up less screen vertical height that way and I can leave it up permanently which is far more convenient that a disappearing taskbar.

Yes you unlock the taskbar and then drag it to how big you want them lock it again.
