Last October both Microsoft and Google have inked a deal with Twitter through which they received access to the latter's live news feed, enabling them to provide real-time search result. In November Microsoft went ahead and launched a beta page (bing.com/twitter) to let users test out the new functionality. That test is coming to and end though as the Redmond company has started to include tweets in results pages on the main Bing site - bing.com.

With the added social search results Bing is offering up-to-date data on almost any topic out there, of course, all this courtesy of the Twitter userbase who just can't stop writing short messages. To make the Twitter results even more relevant, Microsoft is providing the most popular shared links for navigational queries so you'll see what's hot right from the get-go.

The Twitter results are currently available to small subset of our users and queries, the plan being to make them available to everyone in the US shortly.
